Falco Launches “the science park” Range of Play Equipment, from Modo

Falco UK (Arunhithe Ltd) is a leading European designer, manufacturer and installer of high quality Street Furniture and is launching ‘the science park’ range of play equipment, from Modo s.r.l. in Italy, at this year’s IOG Saltex exhibition.

Visitors to the Falco stand (Stand A54) will be able to view (and try out!) some of the items of play equipment from the innovative range of products. Already installed in over a hundred locations throughout Italy, the hands on nature of the science park products is a must see for play managers and designers with an inventive streak!

The interactive nature of the products provides a new concept in play enabling children to use their imagination in different ways through technology. The range promotes learning, experimentation and interaction, drawing on the whole breadth of scientific concepts; visual perception, cause and effect, energy, force and motion, light and sound and so-on.

The equipment is manufactured from robust high quality stainless steel and can be installed singly or as part of a larger scheme. Each item has a panel to accompany it, including a text in two parts: the first showing instructions of how to play, and the second gives an easy explanation of the scientific concept being used. Falco offers a full contract management service including installation.

Said Paola Rigamonti, Export Manager for Modo; “Currently there are 51 products in a range that is growing all the time and new products have already been added this year”. She continued, “Quality and design are at the heart of our philosophy and we are very pleased to extend our relationship with Falco and we will be providing full technical back-up to support designer’s needs”.

Also on show will be the space saving cycle parking system the ‘FalcoFriendly’. Using a unique gas strut mechanism, this two tier cycle system enables clients to double the number of cycles they can house, providing a great space saving opportunity for sites with limited space but a need to provide cycle parking. Additionally the ever popular ‘FalcoLite’ cycle / smoking shelter will also be on show.

Falco has a wide number of co-ordinated street furniture ranges and visitors will be able view a number design led products including a bench and litter bin from the ‘Triangle’ stainless range, the elegant hardwood ‘FalcoRelax’ bench, the economical and utilitarian ‘Eliseo’ litter bin

For the Landscape Designer, Falco will have samples of the pergola range ‘Project W’ on show. This modular wire form system provides complete flexibility enabling designers to create structures to suit any space or environment. Also on show will be products from the new ‘Granite’ range of stone street furniture. Comprising a stylish collection of bollards, benches and posts, these add a cool and refined expression to an urban environment.
