Dow Corning shows attention to detail

Visitors to the Dow Corning Stand at 100% Detail (stand H50) can access information on the company’s latest developments in silicone sealant and adhesive technology for structural glazing, insulated glazing and weather sealing applications. The company will also be show-casing Dow Corning Quality Bond - an innovative scheme aimed at improving and maintaining the highest quality standards in the business.

The Dow Corning Quality Bond scheme is a set of services and commitments formalising Dow Corning’s industry standard-setting technical services offering, warranties and product excellence. It embraces specifiers, applicators and fabricators in a programme of training, quality audits and warranties which build on Dow Corning’s reputation as the benchmark of quality in the structural glazing industry. Only by adhering to the highest standards of quality, standards and technical excellence will specifiers be certificated in the Dow Corning Quality Bond scheme.

Among the services the company offers as part of its Quality Bond scheme are adhesion, staining and compatibility testing, blue print review, design calculations, project audits, training, warranties and COINS the first and only on-line information service to streamline project review and sample testing

Also on show on the stand will be exhibits demonstrating Dow Corning’s 756 SMS Building Sealant. Recognised as offering exceptional performance, Dow Corning’s 756 SMS is ideally suited to help prevent dirt streaking on glass – an unsightly modern phenomenon – since it will significantly reduce dirt pick-up, fluid migration and hence, fluid streaking even on aesthetically challenging substrates such as marble, granite, brick, polyester powder coatings and anodized aluminium
