What shape does creativity take? New Formica solid surfacing range launched at 100% design stand E90

At this year’s 100% Design, Formica Limited will be exhibiting for the first time its new Solid Surfacing range. Extended to almost double its original size, this new range delivers increased choice and variety. A stylish material that invites creative and innovative use, Formica® Solid Surfacing is a tactile and versatile choice for all commercial and residential environments. Technically advanced, its material composition offers many advantages, the most significant being its inherent class 0 fire rating.

Designed and manufactured by Formica Limited, Formica Solid Surfacing can be jointed almost seamlessly using colour matched adhesives, while its inherent sculptural properties allow it to be cut, carved, drilled, routered and inlayed, ensuring that any number of design ideas can be realised.

Available in two different thicknesses; 12mm for horizontal applications and 6mm for wall cladding and decorative inlays, a range of complementary sinks and bowls is also available. In addition global Formica® manufacturing facilities and central and local stocks guarantee a fast and efficient service.

Hygienic and stain resistant, Formica Solid Surfacing is easy to clean and maintain; scratches and any other superficial damage can be simply polished away. It is these performance benefits and its class 0 fire rating that allow it to be specified for even the most stringent of interiors.
