Flexible bus system from Wieland Electric

The new gesis® EIB/KNX bus system from Wieland Electric is designed to provide quick and cost effective access to the benefits of EIB bus technology. It is characterised by its modular design, providing the inherent flexibility to meet a wide range of lighting and other control requirements. Completely vendor-neutral, EIB/KNX offers complete compatibility with EIB devices from other manufacturers without the need for time-consuming or expensive re-configuration.

Featuring a pluggable design, gesis EIB/KNX is installed very quickly, using pre-assembled gesis components to eliminate errors and get the system up and running in the minimum time. Remote installation is also an option, allowing the use of small distribution boxes and reducing cabling requirements. Because of the system’s flexibility, any subsequent modifications to the design are easily and quickly accommodated.

All EIB/KNX products are certified by the Konnex Association, which guarantees that the products of different manufacturers can be combined in a system without any problems.

The EIB/KNX certified products are offered in three different designs. The gesis® EIBV series has a low profile design, while the gesis® EIBM2 is a modular concept that can be adapted to the users requirements by connecting different I/Os, and the gesis® EIB RM is designed for installation into the gesis® distribution box which increases their flexibility.
