Wieland's popular gesis® CON GST18i range is available in 3, 4, 5 & 6 pole connectors

Wieland Electric’s popular gesis® CON GST18i range is available in 3, 4, 5 & 6 pole connectors and, is designed for the safe installation of lighting and other building services components.

Using a mechanical coding arrangement so that male and female connectors can only be mated in one way, the gesis® CON GST18i range ensures that all contacts are connected simultaneously, with the earth contact in advance. Furthermore, all conducting parts are protected against accidental touching, whether connected or disconnected.

The gesis® CON GST18i re-wireable connectors are easy to assemble utilizing multi head screws, with a unique built in strain relief that fits multiple cable sizes as well as the existing benefits of the GST18i range. These include colour coding as well as mechanical coding which ensures circuits cannot be connected accidentally and are suitable for many lighting and power applications where core sizes are between 0.5mm2 to 4mm2 and cable dimensions of 5.5 – 12mm2.

Designed for 250V or 250/400V 16A applications, gesis® CON connectors can speed up installations by up to 70% with up to 30% cost reduction. Available with a screw or spring loaded connection, the connectors are available in various colours to suit different applications i.e. power, dimming etc. Certified according to DIN VDE 0628 gesis® CON intelligent connector system is ideal for the installation of lighting systems, switches and outlets.
