Fast track project proves no problem for Ardex Rake and Trowel PU Screed

Fast track installation was one of the key considerations for the refurbishment of the factory mess room and washroom facilities at Greenbank Engineering of Derbyshire. With a superb reputation for developing a sophisticated range of industrial flooring systems which are ideal for fast track projects, it was no surprise that once again ARDEX was the preferred manufacturer.

ARDEX’s industrial flooring range is increasingly favoured by industrial flooring contractors, specifiers and clients as it has been designed to provide a totally integrated system solution, combining product compatibility with premium performance, alongside being proven throughout many demanding industrial environments.

Working in conjunction with specialist resin flooring contractors Pola Flooring of Coventry, ARDEX R 90 P Rake and Trowel Grade Heavy Duty Polyurethane Screed was specified for the project, as it provides high chemical resistance, with a seamless and joint free finish to withstand rigorous hygiene routines, such as steam cleaning.

Available in a range of colours, ARDEX R 90 P has been specially formulated to provide an easily worked system that can be applied using a pin rake and trowel, resulting in a more efficient installation process compared to a traditional trowel applied heavy duty polyurethane screed. Once cured the system forms a tough, easily cleaned, pigmented layer from 4mm up to 9mm thick, providing a durable, slip resistant resin flooring system.
