Management team buy in at Briggs & Forrester

Group Chairman Mike Stanton is delighted to announce that today on the 14th August 2006 the share ownership of the Briggs & Forrester Group has been extended to include additional members of the Management Team, including all of the Directors of the four operating companies. This group of individuals have collectively purchased 25% of the Group.

The Group is currently placed in the top 16 M&E Contractors in the UK and the objective is to be in the top 10 in terms not only in size, but reputation and profitability.

Throughout the Groups 59 years in business there have been many changes and this move to wider share ownership is a continuation of this policy that the Briggs and Forrester Board believe will be good for the company and will benefit everyone in the future.

In the past five years the Group has doubled in size to £100 million turnover, employing over 550 people and the aim is to continue this growth.

Stanton states ‘The Group has an excellent reputation for quality, dedication and a team approach in working with our customers. We believe the key to our success is the people we employ and extending the Groups Shareholders to bring on board members of the Management team, which include all the Directors of the operating companies represents a tremendous opportunity for people to become Shareholders in the Group as the business continues to develop.
