S-Quad for Vigilon - LPCB Approved
Gent by Honeywell is pleased to announce that its
unique market leading S-Quad multisensor range has been
certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB).
This means that the S-Quad range for Vigilon is now
listed as approved in the organisation’s Red Book ”List
of Approved Fire And Security Products and Services”,
the world renowned listing used by specifiers,
designers, insurers, constructors, installers,
manufacturers, regulators and anyone who needs to better
manage their risks. Choosing products and services,
tested and approved against the appropriate standards is
important and in the long run can save specifiers a
great deal of time and money.
The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), part of
“Building Research Establishment” BRE is a world leading
third party certification/approvals body, dedicated to
approving fire, security, construction, and
environmental, products and services worldwide. Its
certification is independent third party confirmation
that products and systems meet and continue to meet
appropriate standards.
This approval helps ensure, through regular audits
(Products and ISO 9000) , that all Gent products
continue to comply with the relevant standards, which
are themselves, subject to revision, ensuring compliance
with latest legislation, assisting in market entry,
customer confidence etc. and ongoing audits also ensure
the product available in the marketplace is exactly the
same as the product originally tested and approved.
