C’mon Gyproc!
They’re not quite ready to take on the might of
Chelsea or Man United, but these youngsters of the
Bradley Stoke United FC under-13’s team certainly look
the business in their new Gyproc kit, following a
sponsorship deal with plaster and plasterboard giant,
British Gypsum.
Coach Matt Baggott, whose son plays for the team, is
British Gypsum’s Project Specification Manager in the
South West, and managed to persuade the company to sign
a two-year sponsorship deal, which includes the smart
new Nike kit, complete with sponsor’s logo.
The under-13’s are playing this season in the Avon Youth
League Division B, and have made an impressive start;
already notching up wins of 10-1 and 8-1 in two of their
first league games.
Formed in 1998, the club has around 150 players aged
between 6 and 14, and already has an impressive trophy
cabinet – with British Gypsum’s help the under 13’s are
looking to add to it this season!
