Class-Leading boiler range adds 16kw model for maximum efficiency

The RENO HE16H, a nominally 16kW high-efficiency condensing boiler from Johnson & Starley, has been launched to further extend the successful RENO range. Carrying the usual RENO characteristics that make the range the most efficient in its section of the market, the new model represents a package of sophisticated and superbly engineered features that include unique modulation capability.

16 kW RENO models use a standard 15mm gas supply. They modulate down to 4kW, keeping them in condensing mode for much more of their operating time and saving on running costs - as well as being kinder to the environment. Equipped with stainless steel heat exchanger, long life pump and top-brand controls, RENOs are built to last and provide excellent whole-life cost characteristics.

The RENO range of high-efficiency condensing boiler packages have been designed to be the easiest on the market to install and maintain. SEDBUK A Rated and economic to run, the boilers are quiet and built to last offering excellent life time costs. A further, major advantage is the flexibility of siting, thanks to the possibility of flue lengths up to 30 metres from the boiler to outside venting. In addition to allowing installation in otherwise unsuitable positions, the long flue capability on RENO boilers also means the best or most suitable exit can be chosen, rather than simply pushing the flue through the nearest wall. The flue can be taken to 10 metres vertically, horizontal or a combination of both, equivalent in length using 60/100 concentric flue, or 30 metres in a typical twin 80mm flue arrangement.

The boilers also feature a small "foot print" or wall space requirement owing to the compact, space-saving design and RENO has an ultra quiet, new-technology flue fan so that, even over long flue lengths, noise levels do not intrude on living spaces. A unique temperature stabilising system on combination versions ensures that the constantly-available supply of hot water gives a consistent temperature at the taps. On-board diagnostics ensure minimum downtime and low maintenance costs.
