Toshiba Air Conditioning announces Thermofrost Cryo as new
distributor
Thermofrost Cryo PLC, suppliers of equipment,
controls and components to the refrigeration and air
conditioning industry, has become the latest company to
join Toshiba Air Conditioning as a distributor of its
broad range of high quality VRF and Split system air
conditioning systems. A new distribution agreement will
be effective at the start of 2007.
Toshiba Air Conditioning’s UK Commercial Director David
MacRae explained, “We promised the marketplace that we
would continue to increase the scope of our distribution
and I am delighted to be able to announce the addition
of Thermofrost Cryo which will improve our regional
coverage still further. They have a well-established
reputation as industry specialists.”
“Their business is particularly strong in the Midlands
which is the area we have identified as being very
important for our future growth. We will be working very
closely with the company in the coming months so that
they are up and running on January 1st 2007 fully
supported in the way that the market has come to expect
for Toshiba products. I am very encouraged by their
early interest in our VRF ranges.”
Thermofrost Cryo’s Philip Sloper expressed the company’s
delight on signing the agreement. “We’ve been
distributors for Carrier brand products in the past.
This is something different, but it is great to have
contact with Toshiba Carrier and its people again. The
latest, high quality products from Toshiba will enable
us to appeal to an even broader range of customers and
take our business forward. One third of our business is
air conditioning related at the moment, we are looking
forward to increasing this using Toshiba products.”
