Ardex recognised among top 100 innovative companies

ARDEX has been recognised by the Vienna Economic Council among the TOP 100 companies for outstanding innovative performance. The council evaluates companies in four areas of innovation management: Innovative processes and organisation; innovation climate; innovation marketing, as well as Senior Management commitment to promoting innovation.

ARDEX UK are firm believers in promoting an innovative culture and this has been reflected in their products since entering the UK market in 1960. ARDEX develops and manufactures high performance products for the tiling, commercial flooring and industrial flooring markets and have demonstrated their innovative culture through the years with unique or market leading products that have proved difficult for other manufacturers to compete with.

One such innovation is ARDEX’s unique Rapidry Formula technology, which chemically binds the mix water within the mortar giving benefits such as faster drying screeds and smoothing compounds, or virtually eliminating the risk of water staining of natural stone tiles. Recent product innovations have included a range of technically advanced floor covering adhesives featuring new developments in terms of chemistry and working characteristics, that have led to patent applications by ARDEX. A key innovation in the tiling sector is ARDEX X 7 G Plus Flexible Adhesive with Built-In Admix for Floor and Wall Tiling which achieves approximately 20% more coverage per kg compared to traditional tile adhesives as confirmed by independent testing at Ceram Research.
