Junckers Launch Acoustic Systems
Junckers have developed and tested two specialist
acoustic systems for use over concrete sub floors. These
offer contractors valuable savings in both time and
money.
Both systems conform to Document E of the Building
Regulations for new and refurbished residential
buildings and have been laboratory tested as suitable
for reducing impact sound in accordance with appendix D
of Robust Standard Details.
The Acoustic Cradle system is ideal for areas where the
sub floor is uneven and height is not an issue. It can
be used in conjunction with Junckers 14mm, 20.5mm and
22mm thick boards. If height is an issue and the sub
floor is level, then 14mm Junckers board can be laid
with the Clip System directly over the 5mm thick CA2
underlay.
Offering both time-saving and convenience, both systems
can be bought and delivered as complete packages. As
another major benefit, Junckers pre-tested systems means
that building contractors need no longer carry out
separate pre-completion acoustics testing.
