Technical sales manager appointed to Poundfield Products

Trevor Manser has been appointed technical sales advisor at Poundfield Products. His background is in quantity surveying and civil engineering on projects across the UK.
In his new role he will be responsible for dealing with all technical enquiries about Poundfield’s Alfabloc and L-bloc concrete retaining walling systems, which are widely used in ports, construction sites, recycling, materials handling and local authority applications.

Trevor has previously worked for Breheny Civil Engineering, EA Land Surveys and Randall Surveys.
Chris Maclean, consultant to Poundfield Products, said, “We’re delighted to have such an experienced and enthusiastic addition to our team. Our reputation is spreading and it is important to Poundfield that our customer service matches the quality of our products. Trevor is a vital part of that service to customers.”

About Poundfield Products
Poundfield Products was created in 1999 to exploit Alfablocs - a unique walling system that has many advantages over alternative products. It is easy and fast to install, has no protruding toe and can often be used freestanding, which makes it easy to reconfigure storage spaces.
The company’s L-bloc walling system is unique in its combination of pre-stressed concrete and interlocking ‘tongue and groove’ joints. The use of pre-stressed concrete reduces weight and improves strength, while the interlocking joints make installation quicker and easier.

Poundfield’s products are used by companies such as Associated British Ports, British Sugar, Cemex, Cleanaway, Lafarge, Tarmac and Thames Water, 150 leading farming operations and over 60 local authorities. The company is based in Creeting St Peter, near Ipswich, Suffolk.
