Stay cool, calm and collected NEW PYRANOVA® 60 minutes integrity PLUS insulation against fire

SCHOTT, Europe’s largest specialist glass manufacturer, is pleased to announce the arrival of the new PYRANOVA® fire resistant glass, offering insulation and integrity for up to 60 minutes.

PYRANOVA® has been successfully tested against the European standard EN 1634-1 to confirm 30 and 60 minutes insulation and integrity properties in both timber and steel frame constructions.

PYRANOVA® is a multiply laminate made up of 3mm thick float glass and intumescent interlayers. When subjected to a fire the interlayers act as a barrier to the conduction and re-radiation of heat through the body of the product. It is suitable for both internal and external applications, the latter requiring an extra glass and PVB interlayer on the outside to prevent UV degradation.

PYRANOVA® is available in large sizes up to 1900 x 2900mm and is available through a UK wide network of stockists and distributors.

For many years SCHOTT has been the market leader for integrity only glass with PYRAN® S, offering exciting applications such as butt-joint and structural glazed systems to take advantage of the products unique borosilicate composition to provide large uninterrupted areas of glazing.
