Piller - Dual Presentations of ‘Game-Changer’ Piller UPS Generates Exceptional Interest Worldwide

Game Changer UPS - Cooling Technology - Uninterruptible Power Supply

Recent previews of Piller’s innovative ‘game changer’ UPS technology ‘CPM300/360’ at AFCOM’s Data Center World Global Conference in Las Vegas and the CeBIT Global Event for Digital Business in Hannover have brought exceptional levels of interest from potential buyers worldwide.

Visitors to both shows were given the opportunity to experience at first hand the benefits of the new Piller technology, which promises to revolutionise the way data center designers and operators think about power conditioning and outage protection.

The new product, with its attractive and distinctively ’cutting edge’ look and feel, is essentially a new UPS category, combining a completely new kinetic energy storage with cutting edge cooling technology in a highly efficient uninterruptible power supply. Replacing conventional space-hungry battery-backed ups with this self-contained CPM unit that may be placed either in a plant room or directly on the server room floor significantly reduces footprint and whole-life costs.

Piller’s Managing Director for Global Business, Andrew Dyke, said: “At both shows, there was discernible excitement about what is essentially a completely new concept in UPS. We knew there would be huge interest in the new product and what it can deliver for data centres, but the response received exceeded our expectations. We are now looking forward to seeing the interest at the forthcoming Data Centre World conference in London.”

Dean Richards, Managing Director, Piller USA stated “The feedback encountered at AFCOM tells us very clearly that our new product is what the market is looking for. We are now following up the many leads we have received from potential buyers around the globe.”
