Unitrunk - Nolan Joins Unitrunk as National Projects Manager

Cable Management - Rapid Installation Systems - Cable Ladder Manufacturer

Unitrunk - Paul Nolan

Cable management specialist, Unitrunk, has appointed Paul Nolan to the new role of national projects manager.

The appointment is part of a strategic move from Unitrunk to build stronger ties with major contractors, architects and consultants in order to demonstrate the value of the company’s rapid installation systems (RIS) product range and prime cost model, which calculates the cost of an installation based on both materials and labour.

Paul will have a national business development remit, including a drive to increase awareness of Unitrunk’s RIS products in key niche sectors and an active CPD programme to extend engagement with the specifier market.

He joins Unitrunk from cable cleats specialist, Ellis Patents, and his responsibilities will draw on his extensive experience in the cable management sector. His first job was with Vantrunk, Unitrunk’s cable ladder manufacturer, and he spent 10 years with one of Unitrunk’s competitors.

Comments Paul: “Unitrunk is a forward-focused and innovative company that has re-engineered its products to offer faster, more robust installation that can save contractors up to a third of their labour costs and improve health & safety on site.

“Taking on a new role that will see me spread that message to key decision makers within specification and installation businesses nationwide is a very exciting prospect. Having worked in the sector for many years, I know what else is out there and I feel certain that, once they’ve used Unitrunk systems, contractors will never want to use anything else.”

Tim Brown, Unitrunk’s national sales manager, adds: “Paul and I have worked together before so I know what an asset he will be to the company and what a coup it is for us to have attracted him to this new role.

“It means that Unitrunk is starting 2016 with a clear growth plan and the resources to implement it. There are interesting times ahead.”
