Advanced Air - New EC Motors for Advanced Air Fan Coils

Horizontal Fan - EC Motor - Fan Coil - Fan Decks

Advanced Air EC Motor

Advanced Air now incorporate a newly developed EC motor in their unique horizontal fan deck design. These motors have a special chip developed by Nailor – Advanced Air American parent – which gives a pressure independent unit and makes the fan coil self-balancing and requiring no commissioning on the airside.

Utilising large horizontally mounted motors means that energy efficiency is maximised with Specific Fan Powers of 0.15 w/l/s or lower. Also with these slow running fans noise levels are much reduced and NR25 has been achieved on a number of projects.

Advanced Air manufacture their own fan decks which can add to the flexible approach they take. Since most fan coils are batch produced, as opposed to mass produced, special designs do not create a problem or even a cost penalty.

Andrew Sargent, General Manager of Advanced Air, explained that part of the new logo “Innovation in Action“ was to communicate to the market a more flexible approach and to develop project specific designs.
