Knauf’s appearance at this year’s Surface Design Show will provide architects and specifiers a great opportunity to see some of its latest and most innovative developments in lightweight building materials and systems. The stand will focus on Knauf’s Cleaneo Akustik, Danoline, and Knauf Design products alongside its pioneering ThroughWall Solution and Knauf External Renders.

The Surface Design Show takes place between February 9th and 11th at London’s Business Design Centre in Islington. It is the UK’s only event that focuses solely on interior and exterior surfaces, and the 2016 show is expected to be the largest of its kind.

Knauf will occupy stand 408, and will display some of its newest, most innovative and most popular products such as the Cleaneo Akustik range.

Cleaneo Akustik plasterboards provide high-performance sound absorption, whilst using a tapeless jointing process to provide a seamless finish. The versatility of this product makes it ideal for use in large public spaces in hospitals, schools, and office complexes. Available in 20 different perforation patterns to offer complete creative freedom, Cleaneo Akustik plasterboards cut the amount of pollutants and odours while still delivering market-leading acoustic performance.

The stand will also showcase Knauf’s latest unique proposition for the façades market, the ThroughWall Solution. This offer combines a range of high performance products to create the UK’s first complete through the wall system for façade infill panels supplied by a single manufacturer. Designed for both concrete and steel frame buildings the system can be used in a wide variety of applications including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, offices and leisure in both new build and renovation. Suitable for use above 18m, the Knauf ThroughWall Solution meets BRE135 and British Standard 8414 part 2 which outlines the fire performance requirements for external cladding.

Throughout the three day show, more than 150 exhibitors will demonstrate their products and brands.

Talking about Knauf’s participation, James Leaning, Business Development Director said: “The Surface Design Show is a great opportunity for Knauf. It provides us with a chance to showcase our new products in front of the finest architects and designers in the industry so that they can see the performance and installation benefits first-hand.”
