Grundfos Deliver Savings you can Bank On

CO2 Savings - Energy Audit - Pump Systems - Heating Pumps

Grundfos Pumps

A large bank in Denmark wanted to find ways to cut its annual energy use. This bank offers its 200,000 shareholders a range of financial services via their nearly 4,000 employees.

Head quartered in Silkeborg, like many businesses, this financial institution wanted to look at the potential that investing in improved technical solutions that would optimise energy consumption could offer them in terms of energy and CO2 savings. This included reviewing their pump installation so they contacted Grundfos Pumps to tap into their knowledge and expertise.

A subsequent energy audit undertaken by Grundfos looked at both their current and future needs and the recommendations provided by the ensuing energy report suggested reviewing the heating circulator loops and replacing three older pumps. Members of the innovative Grundfos MAGNA3 circulator family were chosen as the ideal replacements because they offer energy-efficiency, reliability as well as being simple to install.

Following installation, the savings were quickly obvious and the new pumps were returning 60% savings once operational. This has doubled the return on the required investment and reduced CO2 emissions making this a sound investment opportunity.
