Unitrunk Puts its Energy into Nuclear Sector at Paris Exhibition

World Nuclear Exhibition - Cable Management - Nuclear Industry Association

Unitrunk - World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 26-28 June 2018

Innovative cable management specialist, Unitrunk, will be heading to Paris in June to join companies and delegates from 63 countries around the world at the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 26-28 June 2018.

Taking place at Paris Nord Villepinte - Hall 7, the bi-annual exhibition and conference is an internationally acclaimed event covering the whole nuclear energy sectors and focuses on innovation, future technologies and industry partnerships.

Combining a traditional exhibition space with panel discussions and exhibitor workshops, WNE attracted 678 exhibitors at the last show in 2016, from 27 countries. The 2018 WNE will be the third event for the exhibition and is expected to be even larger and attract more delegates that the previous exhibition two years ago.

Unitrunk will be at Stand 1 in the EIC UK Pavilion and it will be the company’s first attendance at WNE, which underlines Unitrunk's considerable success in the Nuclear sector, including involvement in two contracts for a major nuclear build programme. The first cable management company to become a member of the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA), Unitrunk offers a product range that appeals to the nuclear sector for its robust design, ease and speed of installation and versatility.

Comments Paul Nolan from Unitrunk: “Nuclear is one of the most demanding sectors there is, with a business and safety-critical need to ensure that every element of the design is robust and compliant and will stand the text of time.

“Our rapid installation systems (RIS) philosophy has seen us redesign conventional cable management with simple, tool-free connections that eliminate human error during installation and provide a strong, vibration-resistant solution for a longer service life.

“Our cable ladder, cable tray and cable basket are available in a range of finishes, including pre-galvanised, hot-dipped galvanised, stainless steel and powder coated, enabling us to work with design teams and specifiers in the nuclear sector to select the most appropriate solution for each aspect of their nuclear build project.”

Paul and his Unitrunk colleagues will be on hand to talk to delegates at WNE 2018 about the industrial and heavy duty cable management solutions the company offers and explain the bespoke solutions that the company can provide with early engagement and close collaboration.

He adds: “Because we have in-house design teams, manufacturing and training capabilities, we can work with nuclear sector design, engineering and specification teams to answer their specific needs either from our standard-range or by custom-making components to address individual challenges.

“We looking forward to meeting delegates at WNE in June. The 2016 event attracted 10,000 visitors from around the world and the 2018 show is expected to be even busier so we’re anticipating lots of footfall on our stand.”
