Grundfos Pumps - Campus has Lessons to Share

Energy Check - Pump Audit - Pump System - Boosting Pump

Grundfos - University Campus

Energy as well as CO2 savings have become increasingly important targets to realise reductions for many universities and other educational establishments. There are some occasions when it is possible to simultaneously achieve these ambitions and this is true in the instance of pumps, as they provide the potential to deliver major savings on both fronts.

So how can this be achieved? Well at Grundfos Pumps, we offer a range of diagnostic tools including an Energy Check or Pump Audit that will help to establish the current pump system performance. Take for example a recent Energy Check on an 11,000-student campus at a university in the North West of England. This showed that if a number of circulators were exchanged for more efficient models, a significant saving of 64,753 kWh per year was possible, with an ROI of just 3 years.

Following on from this success, the university are now looking at reviewing other aspects of their heating, cooling, water supply and water boosting pump requirements to ensure they are delivering to their maximum potential.

So regardless of if the priority is cost reduction, CO2 savings, ROI, a water usage reduction or just simply to get advice on your current installations, Grundfos have the tools, expertise and integrity to help you to achieve your ambitions.
