Systemair - We’ve been Shortlisted for Three H&V News Awards!

Now in their 24th year, the H&V News Awards continue to raise awareness of key examples of the most forward thinking solutions and the highest achievements across the building services industry.

We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted in the following three categories for this year’s H&V News Awards.

Air Movement Product of the year – Menerga Adconair Adiabatic Zero GWP & DX Carbon free cooling AHU

Menerga proves that effective cooling can take place without compression refrigeration systems. This is possible with its new carbon-neutral Adiabatic zero GWP cooling technology, on the basis of its proven Adconair heat recovery system. These hybrid evaporative cooling systems reliably cool hot summer outdoor air to as low as 18°C. By combination of the technologies of indirect Adiabatic evaporative cooling with dewpoint cooling – combined for the first time by Menerga in one air handling unit- it is possible to discharge high thermal loads outside the air conditioned rooms and to assure constantly low supply air temperatures.

Commercial HVAC Product of the Year & Domestic Ventilation Product of the Year - SAVECair Intelligent Controls for SAVE MVHR Units

SAVECair is an intelligent control system which gives the end user full control over ventilation inside the house from their SAVE MVHR unit. The control system with automatic mode function regulates the airflow of the MVHR unit with C02, RH, VOC, PIR sensors. All MVHR units with SAVECair come with a built in humidity sensor which is used for extract demand ventilation but also to control the humidity recovered over the rotary wheel heat exchanger. The unit comes with a full colour display (smartphone like interphase) where information such as settings, alarms etc. are easily accessible.

SAVECair units come with a connection box where an installer connects all external sensors or components for ease of installation and time efficiency. The IAM (Internet Access Module) is also available as an accessory which allows the unit to connect to the Internet and give you full control over the unit no matter where you are via the Systemair SAVECair App. If your ventilation requirement differs you can set daily and weekly programmes using the weekly calendar functions activated Auto mode.

Winners will be announced at a special ceremony taking place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on April 19th 2018.
