Grundfos - All Pumped up about London

Pump Systems - Pumping Stations - Pump Plantrooms - Water Pumps

Grundfos - London Skyline

It may not be that obvious what the Tate Modern, The Shard, Wimbledon, the Walkie Talkie Building, Lords, Francis Crick Institute, Royal London, the Supreme Court, ArcelorMittal Orbit and the O2 have in common? There are some more obvious connections, they are all iconic buildings in London, most are pretty well known and some have even played their part in changing the London skyline.

However, the real answer is that all of these structures are supported on a day-to-day basis by a wide range of Grundfos pumps. Behind closed doors, locked away in plantrooms, there is a veritable army of Grundfos pumps and pump solutions that are meeting the heating, cooling, water supply, wastewater, fire suppression demands and of course water boosting needs. Such functions are all part of maintaining these buildings in a healthy, operational state and supporting the people who live, work and play within their walls.

Being part of projects like this is great and at Grundfos we are all pleased to be associated with such important schemes. However, we are also proud of the many others not so famous and not necessarily just new projects up and down the country that we also support on a daily basis.
