Heat Mat - Underfloor Heating for Luxury Apartments in Horsham, West Sussex

Underfloor Heating - Underfloor Heating Mats - Electric Underfloor Heating

Heat Mat - Linden House

Heat Mat’s 160W underfloor heating mats have been installed at a luxury development in Horsham, West Sussex.

F3Group, the developers of Linden House, were granted consent for change of use to convert the building into apartments. The Portland Stone façade of the original commercial offices was retained, while the inside has been transformed into 51 high-spec homes. The building has been designed so each of the open-plan 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments surrounds a central atrium.

The remit to use the best quality materials throughout, led the electrical contractors to approach Heat Mat for the electric underfloor heating.

Electric underfloor heating is the main source of heating for each apartment. Heat Mat’s 160W heating mats were chosen for their compatibility under a number of floor coverings and ease of installation. The mats are fitted onto 10mm thermal insulation boards throughout each property and controlled by Heat Mat’s NGTouch thermostat.

Each apartment has hardwood floors in the living area, carpet in the bedrooms and porcelain tiles in the bathrooms, installed above the heating mats.

F3DEVELOP are the company behind the high-end conversion and Belfast-based Contract Services completed the installation of the underfloor heating system with support from Heat Mat.
