Standing Seam Roof - Green Roof - External Metal Cladding

Euroclad - Euroseam standing seam roof

Looking back into our archives has brought back fond memories of some of the landmark buildings that we have been lucky enough to supply.

Ten years ago, in the same year that the iPhone was launched and French high speed passenger train, the TGV, reached a top speed of 574.8 km/h (357.2 mph), breaking the record for the world’s fastest conventional train, we released a press release about the Gloucestershire Constabulary County Police Headquarters, at the time featuring the longest continuous sheet lengths that we had produced at 125m.

Taking the shape of an ellipse, the Euroseam standing seam roof spans around 8,500m² of floor space. Finished in Moorland Green, the roof forms part of a building designed to present a dynamic and inspiring appearance for 400 members of staff at the Quedgeley-based headquarters. An area planted as a ‘green roof’ parallels the smooth, precise lines of self-curved aluminium.
