Premier Tech Aqua - New Appointments for North East Business

A north-east manufacturer of water and wastewater treatment solutions – Premier Tech Aqua UK (PTAU) is continuing to strengthen its team with a series of new business appointments.

Based in Peterlee, the company has appointed a new marketing manager, health and safety officer and management accountant.

Victoria Thompson steps into a new role at PTAU as marketing manager. With a strong marketing and communications background, Victoria has previously headed up marketing departments for Norwich Research Park and the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) Ltd in Sunderland.

Brian Pyle has been appointed health and safety officer, and will play an important role in ensuring optimum standards are maintained throughout PTAU’s facilities, further adding to the company’s outstanding record in this area. With a MSc in Health, Safety and Environmental Studies, Brian has worked in the field for over 20 years, most recently as a Health and Safety Officer at AEI Cables in Birtley.

Matthew Hawkins, also joins the company as management accountant. With a strong background in finance, Matthew has previously worked for a range of organisations including lighting manufacturer Tridonic and Teesside University.

An industry leader in packaged water and wastewater solutions across the UK and Ireland, PTAU specialises in the design and manufacture of innovative products for the residential, commercial, municipal and industrial markets.

In addition to the new appointments, PTAU recently launched a new decentralised wastewater treatment plant, the Solido® SMART. Ideal for residential and commercial projects where mains drainage is unavailable, the innovative product has been developed and manufactured at the County Durham site.
