Grundfos - Glynn WilliamsGlynn Williams, Director of Sales – Commercial Building Services, Grundfos Pumps Ltd.

Glynn is a ‘lifer’ in terms of working within the industry. He started his career in 1988 with a leading commercial and industrial pump distributor as Technical Sales Representative with special responsibility for selling pumps and associated equipment into commercial applications.

He joined Grundfos in 1999 as Area Sales Manager looking after commercial building services projects and customers. His excellent customer service and man management skills were quickly identified and he was promoted several times until he attained his current role of Director of Sales for Commercial Building Services in 2007 assuming responsibility for the direction and strategy within this largest market segment.

Glynn is the longest serving member of the UK management team whose opinion is highly respected, both within and outside of the company. He has been a CIBSE member since 2010.

Grundfos - Phil IlsleyPhil Ilsley, Fire Systems Area Sales Manager, Grundfos Pumps Ltd.

Since joining Grundfos in 2001, Phil has made dynamic career progress. Starting as an engineering apprentice, he quickly gained his HNC in M&E engineering while gaining experience in the different solutions of the Grundfos portfolio, but quickly established himself as a lynchpin in the specialist fire suppression area.

His knowledge and enthusiasm for all things relating to the fire market including system knowledge and packaged pump fire solutions means he can offer significant expertise and hands on knowledge to consulting engineers and public health specialists. His comprehensive knowledge, in this niche area with the wider building services spectrum, means he has become recognised as a ‘go to’ person.

Phil is continuing his formal education and is currently working towards a Masters in Project Management at the University of Birmingham.

Grundfos - Glenn MillerGlenn Miller, Product Manager, Grundfos Pumps Ltd

Glenn has a strong electro mechanical background. He started his career in 1978 with a specialist railway rolling stock refurbishment company as an electrical fitter. Glenn’s extensive career experience has encompassed service and commissioning, rising to full electrical design engineer on various packaging, tobacco, pharmaceutical and slitting rewinding, focussing on the interaction between electrical/electronic control and mechanical function in particular.

He joined Grundfos in 2005 as part of the then technical department as an Applications Engineer supporting Grundfos’ UK engineering applications. His knowledge and engineering application skills meant he quickly became a recognised expert, inside and outside Grundfos, within this sphere.

In 2010 Glenn joined the marketing department in the capacity of Product Manager, and is today the recognised ‘go to’ person for pressure boosting and electrical and electronic control.
