Developed within the boatyard of Sandbanks Yacht Company are three, approximately 300m² waterfront properties, each valued between £3.35 and £3.6 million; the largest, at 352m², having sold in 2015 for a reputed £3.55 million. What makes these homes so special is the attention to detail given to their construction, helped in large part by Vieo roof and wall cladding, which makes up the main visual exterior.

The homes have been designed to be innovative and striking, and this is nowhere more apparent than in the oblique geometry of the roof and walls. Vieo flat-pan sheets were installed to help achieve the desired visual impact, using this Euroclad product - which was inspired by traditional standing seam roofing - to provide a modern architectural exterior.

VieoZinc was the material used to manufacture Vieo, combining the benefits of an aluminium substrate with a zinc-rich coating to provide a workable, sustainable and affordable material that looks, feels and weathers just as zinc does.

Although experiencing a renaissance in recent years, zinc cladding was popularised in Paris in the 19th Century as part of Baron Hausmannn’s rebuilding programme. In more recent years, VieoZinc has been increasingly used in contemporary architecture, as a visually comparable, less expensive and more easily worked alternative to zinc.

Euroclad - Sandbanks Yacht CompanyDescribed as the "fourth most expensive area in the world to live" by the popular press, The Sandbanks peninsular is becoming well recognised for modern, innovative architectural designs, demanded by affluent clients. Measuring just 1km², near Poole in Dorset, the average house price now exceeds £6 million each.
Based on an original scheme by Munden Robinson Architects, Trinity Architecture formed part of a design & build partnership with D & B Spetisbury Construction Limited to create the luxury accommodation in Sandbanks, Poole.

Each house has stunning views overlooking the sheltered water of Poole Harbour, with direct access to the water, private boat storage, secure underground parking and full gym membership.

Likely to be a second home to the rich and famous the kitchen, lounge and dining area is designed into the middle floor, which opens through sliding, folding doors onto a generous balcony.

Each of the five bedrooms has full en-suite facilities, with the largest bedroom being some 28m², not including the en-suite bathroom and separate dressing room. Lower floor facilities include wet room, utility, linen room and even a small kitchenette in the fifth bedroom which can also serve as a garden room.

The three properties are of steel frame construction, built over a full boat yard facility with restaurant and office complex.
