Unitrunk Fixes on Future Growth with Sales Director Appointment

Cable management specialist, Unitrunk, has marked a key milestone in the company’s growth strategy with the appointment of its first ever sales director, Eddie O’Reilly.

Joining the Lisburn-based company from Tata Steel, Eddie will be responsible for commercial strategy, sales processes and growth across Unitrunk’s UK and Ireland businesses, splitting his time between the company’s head office and manufacturing site in Northern Ireland, its GB locations and its ROI subsidiary in Dublin.

The appointment signals a significant step change in ambition and capabilities for Unitrunk as the company continues to develop its specifier-led customer base across key sectors including rail and nuclear while continuing to build on its electrical contracting customer base.

A key element of O’Reilly’s role will be to implement robust sales processes and CRM systems, drawing on his corporate experience at a major multi-national company to prepare Unitrunk for the next level of growth. Taking responsibility for developing the company’s sales team and supporting standards of service delivery and technical support across the UK and Ireland businesses, he will help the company to build upon its unique market positioning as the originator of Rapid Installation Systems (RIS) cable management, ensuring specifiers and contractors fully understand the time and cost saving benefits of Unitrunk’s innovative products.

Most recently a director at Tata Steel Distribution’s Heavy Gauge Decoiling business in the UK and Ireland, O’Reilly previously held a number of senior roles with the company, including commercial & customer service excellence manager for Tata Steel Distribution UK and Ireland.
